Are there people who already got an answer from Oregon Scientific concerning a credit/refund from them ? I tried all the email on the website, but no response.

This was bad news, does not matter if you bought in 2013 or yesterday. Everyone should get back for purchase. Everything can be fixed.

I'm in Australia. As there was no email address for this region I sent a message to the US address. This is what I got back, which is completely at odds with what the website is saying. They did gate back to me within 24 hours so someone is still manning the help desk in the US at least:
Hi dear
The website is under maintenance.
We didn't receive the exact time of recover.
Please don't worry, once it finished we will send you the email at once
Best regards
Sincerely,
Customer Service

The server will not come back one, Oregeon has shut down the service for good! It's incredible,it's only been running for 4-5 years. Can you believe a company can be that bad! We should all go to their facebook page and write what we think about it. I've spent several hundred EURs on equipment (upgrading and adding sensors) and now I can just throw it all in the bin.

Yesterday I wrote on Italian and international OS facebook pages, advising potential customers about risks in investing in OS products. I also wrote to US, UK and French customers service with no answer from anywhere. Only bad news...

the email adress for france is wrong, the good adress is OSFR@toymonster.biz. they want to give me an other weather station but really less good, no saved data, i have asked for the wmr89 model but they don't want. the french law is clear, they have to give me at least a product that do the same (saving data for many days), if i need i will go the judge, i have costumer association to help me, do the same in your countries.

Same here, also contacted my online shop website, but they say: sorry not my problem, you will have to contact OS. This way nobody seems to be responsible for the problems. What is the EU legislation saying about this ? I told them: if next week OS is not responding I am coming back to you for a solution, as I bought it from you.

I just put this on trustpilot
This company is simply outrageous. In 2014 I bought a wireless and web-based weather station from them - called LW301. I added some extra sensors, so in total i have for around 345 €. The whole system is based on the possibility to read weather info on af webpage - or on an app on my smartphone. The only way this is possible, is because they use a dataserver collecting data, whereto the weather information is send- and from there to the app. After a downtime for 2 months , they just told us, "sorry- the server don't work anymore- and it will not come up again....ever... we hope you understand" We are so many users there now have some very expensive systems, that’s totally useless. 345 € down the drain – completely ! Try to look at the anywhereweather forum and search for "server problems"
Don’t go near this company ever- it’s a fraud company!

We must file a severe international complaint. This certainly can not be like that.

Have a look here: Something it's moving from UK and FR customer services: evidently they are seeing that the reaction is not so soft as wished... I was, by e-mail, contacted by FR CS and after sending my list of sensors and the e-mail used for OS account, I'm waiting for a "real" feedback from them.
